Pinglin Red Jade

One of Taiwan’s most famous varietals, developed specifically for black tea, Red Jade has been grown almost exclusively in the Sun Moon Lake area of Nantou, Taiwan.

Produced in Pinglin by a “beyond just organic” approach, this Red Jade is just as flavorful as its Nantou cousins, but less aggressive in astringency and mintiness. It radiates earthiness with rich stone-fruit notes and woody character. Harvested from tall trees that have been sparingly picked over the years.
