Mage Baozhong

A superior representative of Pinglin’s most famous tea. Made with the da mo varietal, with a slight but visible degree of bruising on the leaves’ edges, giving a luscious, bouncy mouthfeel with bold floral green oolong notes. Like magic.

Da Mo varietal is a common tea tree type grown in Hsinchu and Miaoli Counties, northwest Taiwan, and so the varietal is generally used for making Dong Fang Mei Ren, Oriental Beauty. This baozhong truly has its own unique character. It’s still very green, but it’s floral and lingers coolly on the breath in its own way.
